Semiconductor thin film deposition equipment is a patent-intensive industry, and Pioneer is committed to building semiconductor equipment with independent intellectual property rights, with technical indicators reaching the international advanced level. Pioneer has a technologically leading R&D team, including more than a dozen top technical talents in the semiconductor field, who have returned from overseas such as Europe, the United States, Japan, etc. The core team of the project has successfully developed and mass-produced a variety of high-end equipment from zero to one in the semiconductor equipment industry, showing very strong independent R&D capabilities.
Since its inception, the company has attached great importance to intellectual property rights. In the early stages of product research and development, Pioneer launched the FTO (Free Implementation) project to investigate potential risk patents for R&D products to eliminate patent infringement risks during R&D. With the expansion of the company, new R&D products are also increasing the efforts to investigate patent infringement risks internally, striving to respect other parties' intellectual property rights and ensure that they do not infringe on the rights and interests of others.

As of 2023, we have applied for and submitted 16 patents, including 14 invention patents and 2 utility model patents. We also applied for a rapid pre-examination channel for two intellectual property protection centers in Jiangsu Province and Wuxi City, and finally successfully passed the pre-examination and accelerated the review progress of the State Intellectual Property Office. This year, we have obtained 3 invention patents licenses. At the same time, we have also registered software copyright and obtained a software certificate in 2023. We look forward to more intellectual property output next year.
