Recently, Professor Shen Bo from the Wide-Bandgap Semiconductor Research Center of Peking University, along with his team, conducted an inspection visit to PSR (P&Y Semiconductor) for work guidance.
Professor Shen Bo, Deputy Director of the Faculty of Science at Peking University and Director of the Wide-Bandgap Semiconductor Research Center, led his research team to overcome the challenge of dynamic threshold voltage stability in GaN-based power devices over the past five years. They achieved high-voltage bridge integration and low-voltage CMOS integration, successfully developing ten-thousand-volt-class GaN-based high-voltage devices.
During the meeting, Professor Shen pointed out that PSR possesses solid technical expertise and a strong talent pool in the field of atomic layer deposition (ALD) technology. This time, the PKU Wide-Bandgap Laboratory and PSR have reached an in-depth collaboration on a high-temperature annealing project for third-generation compound semiconductors. He expressed anticipation for future cooperation between Peking University and PSR on more scientific research custom equipment projects.
Project No. | Project Name | Undertaking Unit | Collaborative Units | Approving Authority | Duration |
BG202412 | R&D of Integrated Atomic Layer Deposition/Etching Equipment for Complex Electrical Interconnects in ICs | PSR (Jiangsu) Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. | SEU Wuxi Campus, Wuxi Zhongwei Jingyuan Electronics Co., Ltd. | Wuxi Science and Technology Bureau | 2024-2027 |
Meanwhile, PSR is leading Southeast University (SEU) and Zhongwei Jingyuan (affiliated with CETC 58) in jointly carrying out the R&D project for integrated atomic layer deposition/etching equipment targeting complex electrical interconnects in integrated circuits. This project is the only one in Wuxi City to receive funding support from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology's Major Science and Technology Special Fund in 2024.
Leveraging its technical expertise and accumulated experience in scientific research equipment, PSR has established solid cooperative relationships with several top domestic universities. To precisely meet the research, development, and custom equipment needs of universities, PSR utilizes the industry-academia-research collaboration model, bringing together the strengths of universities, research institutions, and enterprises. PSR will continue to deepen its efforts in the field of customized scientific research equipment.
