On May 24, the "Semiconductor Special Equipment Technology Seminar" and the "Technical Specifications for Semiconductor Thin Film Deposition Equipment" and the "Technical Specifications for Semiconductor Thin Film Deposition Equipment" and the "Semiconductor Etching Equipment" group standards were successfully held in the Taihuwan Information Technology Industrial Park, Wuxi Economic and Technological Development Zone.
In order to continue to promote the standardization of the semiconductor equipment industry and promote the high-quality development of China's semiconductor industry, under the organization and promotion of the National Association for Promotion and the Standards Committee, Pioneer Semiconductor has become the leading drafting unit of the "Technical Specifications for Semiconductor Thin Film Deposition Equipment" and the main drafting unit of the "Semiconductor Etching Equipment", and hosted the standard launch meeting. Nearly 50 enterprises and institutions including Wuxi Yiwen, SMIC, Northern Huachuang, Shengmei Semiconductor, and the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences were standard participating units, and all sent representatives to attend the meeting on site or online at the same time.
Wang Xianfeng, Secretary-General of the Standards Committee of the National Association for Promotion, Liu Xutong, Director of the Standards Department of the National Association for Promotion, Zuo Liang, Head of the Management Center of Taihuwan Information Technology Industrial Park, and Gu Xiaofeng, Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits of Jiangnan University (replaced by Professor Nan Haiyan for some reason) attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
At the meeting, Dr. Lin Xing, founder and chairman of Pioneer Semiconductor, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Pioneer Semiconductor Focuses on High-end Semiconductor Equipment", introducing the original intention and development history of Pioneer Semiconductor, as well as the advanced applications of Pioneer's products in emerging technology markets such as advanced process semiconductor manufacturing, third-generation semiconductors, advanced packaging, and large silicon wafer materials.
During the text discussion, the members of the standard drafting group interpreted the two standards one by one. The experts and representatives at the meeting actively discussed the content of the standard. Among them, the five doctors who represented Pioneer as standard drafters all put forward suggestions for revision and professional opinions on the existing draft. Many of their views and views aroused extensive discussion and high recognition from the drafting expert group and representatives of other participating units.
The expert group of the National Council for Promotion summarized the opinions and suggestions of the drafter of Pioneer and other delegates, and will continue to revise the standard manuscript after the standards are launched.
